Fair to Middling
I was going to tell you about the Brazilian tree frogs that live in my apartment. They are roughly the size of the top segment of my thumb, and are bright lime green with golden eyelids and a black and white barcode tattooed on their abdomens.
But on reflection, I have decided to give you some middles, instead. Beginnings are easy to do, and endings can always be stitched together; I always find myself in a desert, wandering around thirstily looking for oases or mirages to put in between the beginning and the end.
If I get up early, I will have a generous beginning. If I go to sleep before 3am, then I’ll have a generous ending.

Came across this in The Big Issue. A magazine I support by buying each month. They often have stories written by homeless, ex-homeless and vulnerably housed people, not sure why I like this one exactly, there is just something about it that intrigues me.
